The FAD Cheer & Dance Story

FAD was established in 1980 by founder Sharin Caine. Sharin had an extensive career in dance spanning 35 years and developed the Fitness and Dance program catering for people of all ages allowing everybody to feel the excitement of dance in a fun, friendly and rewarding atmosphere.

Following Sharin’s retirement in 2007, Sandy Carrington, a successful Franchisee of 11 years formed Fitness and Dance Studio Australia Pty Ltd with a focus to develop FAD as a national dance company.

For 40 years FAD studios have steadily earned a reputation as being one of the most respected dance schools in the country. FAD teaching staff are highly dedicated and caring professionals committed to helping students reach their full potential.

Outstanding teaching in an inspiring and nurturing environment is what makes FAD so special. Many adult students have been with FAD since they were toddlers and we are proud to have helped foster a love of music and dance in these very special and talented young performers.

FAD classes are fun, dynamic and affordable. FAD studios offer a wonderful space for young people to appreciate the value of fitness, gain self esteem and confidence while making new and lasting friendships. For many, dance classes at FAD have sparked a lifelong love affair with music and the arts.
